Vendor: Wild Card Creative Group
Role: Post-Production Manager / Assistant Editor

Scope: I held a pivotal role in overseeing the dynamic Finishing Department, where I managed a team of seven Assistant Editors, ensuring that productivity and standards consistently met and exceeded expectations. My leadership skills were evident in my ability to set high standards for the team and successfully execute deliverables through seamless coordination with internal graphic, music, and A/V departments as well as exterior vendors who provided additional assets such as VFX work and color corrected footage. I took charge of the Finishing Department's schedule, budget, and personnel responsibilities, strategically allocating resources based on both company and client needs. This involved a keen understanding of adapting workflow efficiencies to meet evolving business requirements, showcasing my ability to navigate changing landscapes while maintaining top-tier production quality.

In addition to my managerial responsibilities, I played a hands-on role in content creation by cobbling dialogue, outlining, and writing ADR/VO scripts and graphic copy. I demonstrated my editorial prowess by editing rough cuts of multiple feature films as we received content from the sets, often yielding the first usable version of the feature. Assets such as these often contributed to the overall storytelling and visual appeal of our projects by providing a roadmap of the style and tone of the film as it was still being shot.

Meeting countless time-sensitive, high-profile deadlines on a daily basis was a hallmark of my role, highlighting my commitment to efficient project delivery. A key aspect of my success was the establishment of constant, fluid communication channels between my team, our company, and clients. This ensured that all relevant details for each project were known to all stakeholders, fostering collaboration and facilitating the successful execution of each project.
